We promote and announce marriage and relationship education programs in
El Dorado County, California

This website is designed to be an electronic clearinghouse of all marriage-related programs and resources within El Dorado County, California

Faith-based and community-based organizations in El Dorado County, California who are members of the coalition have their marriage education programs listed here. Couples are encouraged to take advantage of these programs to strengthen their marriages. Book mark this page to stay current with the latest offerings from our coalition partners.

Programs include those for couples preparing marriage, already married couples, blended or step families, couples who are new parents, and those couples who suffer from domestic violence.

Couples who are planning marriage should allow four to six months of marriage preparation prior to their wedding to ensure a life-long and committed marriage.

Our vision statement: The El Dorado Healthy Marriages Coalition promotes Marriage Education and Relationship Enhancement classes to organizations and couples giving El Dorado County healthy and long lasting marriages and healthy families.

The El Dorado Healthy Marriage Coalition wants to make El Dorado County a better place. To do this, we will promote marriage education programs for our coalition members to reduce the rate of teen violence, reduce domestic violence, increase the rate of our children receiving college eduations, reduce teen-age pregnancies, increase couple and family happiness, reduce our divorce rate, and increse the quality of life in our county.
